PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Our Client, Didier Lannoote, is a Cordon Blue Chef. After he emigrated from Belgium, bringing with him the knowledge of Belgium trained chocolatiers and pastry Chef; his dream was to open a patisserie/ bread/ chocolate shop in Sydney. His dream came true when he spotted an empty shop in the village atmosphere of Sydney Road, Seaforth. Design Integrity was approached to submit a proposal for his shop design.The design challenge was to incorporate traditional French heritage and modern elements. The outcome is a traditional; French feel shop with layers of modern elements where the pastries, breads and handmade chocolates are displayed as miniature works of art.

Implementation: Concept design, space planning, commercial kitchen, documentation and Council approval.
